My name is Tracy and

I'm a photographer. No dark or burnt sienna edits here; I like 'em natural with an editorial punch! And while I have a Rolodex of poses the size of a 1995 phone book in my head, I love capturing motion because it brings photos to life—the way our faces light up when our partner gets down on one knee, the wind blowing in our hair, the energy flowing between two bodies as they move toward each other—all of these things allow me to capture you as you are when I'm not around.

I'm also extremely detail-oriented. Before a shoot, I'll visit a flower field three times in one day (and have), just to see what the light looks like in morning, afternoon and golden hour, because I want you to have the best possible experience and the best possible photos. I've been nominated Best Photographer for Portland, Maine Best of 2022 Awards 2 years running and have been published by Elements Magazine (May 2021).

"“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.”"

But don't take my word for it...

I just wanted to say, Wow. You're one amazing person to work with and your ability to catch the natural moments in a single photo leaves me speechless. Me and my wife are SO HAPPY WE CHOSE YOU. Tracy, thank you once more for making our moment last a lifetime and being a part of it. You will hear from us for the baby pictures and the maternity ones as well

I nearly did not capture these between the stress of a looming EMBA Thesis submission and no time, capacity and headspace to plan and book a maternity shoot...And in came a divine intervention in the form of Tracy advertising her mini-shoots. I knew it was a sign. Thank you for the great work at such short notice! Find her. Follow her. Book her!

Moments in motion

I love capturing motion because it brings photos to life—the way our faces light up when holding hands, the wind blowing in our hair, the energy flowing between two bodies as they move toward each other—all of these things allow me to capture you as you are when I'm not around.
